What we eat and drink is directly related to our state of health.
Larkin Community College is currently developing a Healthy Eating Policy. This will be introduced to students during our
Healthy Eating Week from Monday, 26th September to Friday 30th September 2011.
For this policy to be successful it is essential that a whole-school approach to healthy eating be taken with students,
parents and teachers working together to provide consistent messages on healthy eating.
We are setting up a working group to promote and support healthy eating. Its role will be to develop a draft policy in consultation
with students, parents and teachers.
As we value your input and opinions, we would appreciate any suggestions you may have in relation to this.
