Students on the music development programme have one lesson per week on the piano, guitar or singing. There are currently 40 students on the programme accessing free music lessons. Students have lesson fees, exam fees and the cost of any exam books covered as part of the programme.
Tutors from Music Generation come into the school to give music instrument lessons to students one day per week throughout the school year.
How to get on the Music Development Programme
You can do an audition on your instrument. You must perform one piece of music.

You have shown a keen interest in music by:
1. Attending afterschool music club
2. Performing at our inhouse music concerts
3. Attending afterschool music events such as the opera
4. Displayed a keen interest in music class by completing work and working
independently on your instrument.
