In November we Remember

Larkin is marking the season and religious festivals by remembering those we have lost.

Please take the time to write the name of someone you have lost in the Remembrance Book outside the Chaplain's Office.

At the end of the month those whose names are written down, will be remembered in a fire service to symbolise the light of hope that they leave behind for us.

As we come to the end of November and begin the wait for Winter which in the Christian tradition is the crossing over into the season of ADVENT, one of our local Catholic Parish Priests, Fr Michael Casey, will remember the names of those we have lost, in a Remembrance Garden in Lourdes Church on Sean Mc Dermott Street. People of all faiths and none are welcome to visit the Church and to step into a quiet time of reflection
