Library Award Ceremony

We held Larkin’s Library Awards ceremonies on May 30th for 1st years and 2nd years. Students were awarded certificates for most books read, quizzes passed, most improved student and we chose overall Accelerated Reader Champions from each class. Students who received an award also got to choose a book as a gift.

JCSP Summer Celebration - Wednesday May 30th

The annual JCSP Summer Celebration took place in the library on May 30th. 

We decorated the library with examples of students’ work from the past few years and a handful of students stood up and spoke about their experiences in JCSP before each student was presented with their profiles.  We finished off the celebrations with lots of delicious cakes and buns all baked by Michelle. 

We were delighted that almost 40 family members of our 3rd years turned up on the day. This is a fantastic turnout and is almost certainly down to the fact that parents/guardians were each phoned and personally invited along to the event in addition to the usual letters and texts
