Star Reading Starts Back

Accelerated Reader, STAR Reading tests started back in Larkin Library with our 2nd years completing theirs.

Farewell to the Library Couches

Today, we bid a fond farewell to our library sofas! They’ve been here since Larkin Library opened in 2003 and have seen a lot of paired reading, shared reading & quiet reading over the years along with bookclubs & boardgames & readathons but we’re happy to see them going to a good home.

Inktober Challenge Winners

Massive congratulations to the Inktober Challenge Winners from Larkin College. Eros, received the overall JCSP INKTOBER prize for his Edinburgh cityscape and Manish and Elaine received Highly Commended for their artworks.

These works were part of an exhibition in New Cross College, Finglas where students got to see their work on display, along with the work of the winners from the other JCSP Libraries .

Well done to the six Larkin students whose work was initially chosen to be part of this exhibition : Eros, Manish, Navisth, Rose, Iris & Elaine. Only a few few weeks until Inktober begins again...
