DEAR - Drop Everything and Read

National D.E.A.R. day is Friday 27th April. Larkin College will have a Whole school Drop Everything and Read @ 12.30 

Students please remember to bring in reading material - it doesn’t have to be novels, textbooks, revision notes or exam papers are also suitable.

Staff Book Club today in Larkin Library and our reading choices for next month

Student Book Club

Student Book Club in Larkin Library supporting National D.E.A.R. Day.  Today’s book club was facilitated by Bernadette Larkin, UNESCO Reader in Residence with Dublin City Libraries and students were discussing & choosing titles for the CBI Shadowing Scheme. 

Students participating will each read and review at least one book and will submit nominations for the CBI Book of the Year award to Children’s Books Ireland by May 12th. We will have a short meeting after school on Wednesday 2nd May.
