Library News Week Beginning 29th of January (9)

Staff Book Club

The Staff Book Club met during lunchtime on Friday. We discussed several books including Burial Rites and The Underground Railroad. For our next meeting we’re going to read 19 Railway Street, The Good People, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and Commonwealth. New members always welcome.

Reading Challenge Progress 

As you can see from the Week 2 results Mr Toomey’s class is still in the lead with reviews written but Ms Creighton’s class is truly in the lead with the longest books/ most words read. The top reviewer in 2nd year this week was Diane Hrisovescu again. The top points scorers are Diane Hrisovescu, Shane Libuna, Tatiana Orlov, Gizelle Roldan and Peng Hui Liu.

Could all students please ensure that they have their Reading Challenge folders in every day and filled in for Wednesday- the JCSP team will gather the results for Week 3 during tutor time & put up the stars in the atrium.
