1st Years Celebrate First JCSP Christmas Celebration

We were delighted to welcome our 1st Year students and their parents to Larkin for their very first JCSP celebration. It was a wonderful occasion that recognised the hard work and positive attitude shown by our new students since the beginning of the school year.

During the event, students were presented with certificates for excellence in Homework, Attendance, Punctuality, Participation and Achievement. We also rewarded students who have actively engaged with our library this year. Each award reflected the effort and enthusiasm that our first years have brought to their learning. A huge well done to all of our well deserving winners!

To those who did not receive an award this time, remember, there is always room to grow. We encourage every student to keep trying their best over the coming months. Your hard work will be recognised.

A huge shout out to our speakers, Willow, D'Arcy, Dakota, Jude and Aiym, who spoke about their own experience of Larkin so far. A further shout out to our hugely talented performers on the day Rhianna and Estera, who certainly got us in the Christmas spirit!

A massive thanks to our healthy Eating class and Ms. Higgins, Tina, and Bim, who created mouth-watering goodies and baked treats - they were AMAZING!

Larkin would like to extend a huge thank you to friends of the school, Rod Smith and Cliodhna Ferris from Canada Life Europe who kindly gifted every student a Christmas bag of cheer! We are always very grateful for Rod's kindness towards our students. A special thank you to Ms. Neill and Ms. Trainer and Jean for organising such a successful celebration, and to First Year Head, Ms. Fallon and the class tutors for their continued support.

Well done to everyone involved!
