5th Year Students Begin Exciting Podcast Project

This week in English class, our 5th Year students had the opportunity to explore brand new podcasting equipment, generously provided by Kinia Academy. The session introduced students to the world of digital storytelling and audio production, allowing them to gain hands on experience with professional tools.

Using the Riverside app, students experimented with the different features available for recording and producing podcasts. They spent time testing microphones, learning about sound quality and discovering how to structure and record engaging audio content.

Over the coming weeks, students will take on the challenge of creating their own podcasts based on their single Leaving Certificate text, Sive. This project will involve extensive research and creative presentation as students transform their learning into an engaging audio format.

The finished podcasts will not only showcase the students’ understanding of the text but will also serve as a valuable revision resource for future classes who study the play.
