Advice for Students When Submitting Work Online

Advice for Students when Submitting Work Online

We hope you are staying safe. We are all new to working online so please be patient with us as we try our best to help you with your learning.

We have  put together some helpful tips to make things a little bit easier for everyone.

  • Most teachers are following the normal class timetable eg: If you have Mr. Usher at 11:50 on Monday he will be in touch with you on Monday.
  • If emailing teachers work/questions please include a subject line saying what the topic of the email is. Eg: Class 101 Maths Work Friday
  • Begin the email with Hi Ms/Sir and say what the email is about eg: Please see a picture of my class work form yesterday or please see my solution to the 2019 exam question 5. Don’t just attach a picture or document and not say what it’s about.
  • If you are sending a document from your one drive please make sure to name it. Eg 2019 Q4 HL
  • It would be a good idea to create folders for each of your subjects in your one drive if you haven’t done so already.
  • If the teacher emails you work please like the email so they know you have received it. If they have put work on edmodo please like the post so they know you have seen it and then submit the work in the time frame agreed.
  • Sign off the email politely with your name and class number . Eg: Zara Class 101
  • If possible please send work or ask questions during normal school hours. All your teachers are online and want to help and support you.
  • If for any reason you are having trouble logging into office 365 please email larkinupdates@lcc.cdetb.ie
  • We are currently working on getting everyone access to teams and will let you know when we have that arranged.

We are here to help you as much as we can and encourage you all to please check your email and edmodo daily.

Stay Safe,
