Celebrating Roma Culture at Larkin

Today, we enjoyed a vibrant and memorable morning celebrating the rich culture and heritage of our Roma students and their families. The event brought our school community together to share and appreciate the traditions that shape the lives of many of our students.

We extend our sincere thanks to Eddie from Bradóg Youth Service and Bianca from Pavee Point for leading the activities and helping to create such an engaging and meaningful experience. Their support played a key role in making the celebration a success.

A special word of appreciation goes to our dedicated Home School Community Liaison Officer, Ms. Kavanagh and Ms. O’Higgins, whose hard work and enthusiasm ensured the event was thoughtfully organised and warmly received.

It was a morning filled with culture, connection, and community spirit, one we were proud to host and look forward to building on in the future.
