Fifth Year Students Take Part in International Peace Conference Simulation

Fifth year students recently had a valuable opportunity to experience real world politics firsthand during an international peace conference simulation, delivered by Steffi and Jos from the UCD School of Politics and International Relations.

The interactive workshop challenged students to step into the roles of international delegates, negotiating complex political issues and working collaboratively to reach diplomatic solutions. Through discussion and compromise, students gained a deeper understanding of how global politics operates and what it means to negotiate on the world stage.

The session proved to be both engaging and inspiring, with students making insightful contributions throughout and demonstrating impressive public speaking and critical thinking skills. Many rose to the challenge with confidence, showcasing the depth of talent within the fifth year cohort.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Steffi and Jos for taking the time to work with our students and for delivering such an engaging and thought-provoking session.
