LCA Street Art Tour

As part of their Craft and Design module, our LCA students recently took part in an engaging and colourful Street Art tour organised by Ms. McKenzie. The outing formed a key element of their coursework, giving students the opportunity to experience creativity beyond the classroom.

The tour was led by guide Conor Hegarty, whose enthusiasm and knowledge brought the vibrant world of street art to life. Students were introduced to a range of artistic styles, techniques and stories behind the murals they encountered. Conor also created a video capturing the day’s activities, helping students reflect on their learning in a dynamic way.

This experience offered an excellent example of hands-on learning, encouraging students to observe and appreciate art within the community. Well done to all involved!
