Science Week 2025

Science Week at Larkin got off to an explosive start with a visit from the Mad Scientist! First year students were treated to an interactive and exciting session filled with fascinating demonstrations.

The Mad Scientist showcased the power of friction with hands on experiments, created steam in a dramatic display of chemical reactions and wowed the room with a carbon dioxide explosion that had everyone on the edge of their seats!

The event was not only entertaining but also a great way to spark curiosity and a love for science in our students. A big thank you to the Mad Scientist for bringing learning to life in such an unforgettable way! A huge thank you to Jean for organising this event in our JCSP library!
