TAP Scholars Graduation 2026
Massive congratulations to our Trinity Access Programme Scholars Ireland students who graduated from Trinity College today!
Our students worked with Lydia Whittaker, a TCD PhD student, on the topic “Why Do Volcanoes Go Boom?”. Over seven weeks, students engaged in this fascinating project and successfully completed a college style assignment. This culminated in a graduation ceremony at Trinity College alongside students from 24 other schools across Dublin.
The day also included an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the Geography Department and TCD, followed by a delicious hot lunch.
This has been such a wonderful initiative, giving students the opportunity to experience college level learning and graduate from Trinity College. It has inspired and motivated our students to work hard, with the hope that one day in the not too distant future, each of them will become fully fledged graduates.
Huge thank you to Kayleigh, Warren, Lydia and the team at TAP for all their work on this programme and for making today so special. Shout out to Ms.Tyrrell for accompanying our students today and a huge well done and congratulations to our graduates!
