Third Years Take Part in Mock Court Experience
Our third year students recently participated in an engaging Mock Court experience as part of their CBAs, giving them the opportunity to explore the workings of a real courtroom environment.
Students took on a variety of important roles including barristers, witnesses, jury members and court officials. Throughout the day, they demonstrated excellent communication and critical thinking skills while building confidence in a realistic and interactive setting.
Special congratulations go to the student participants who took on key roles during the proceedings, including Viktoria and Jared as Junior Counsel, Nela as defendant Dara O’Connor, Cara as alleged victim Stevie Higgins, and witnesses Nikita, Melania, Yu Fei and Kayden.
A sincere thank you to barristers Frank, Alicia and Lara for sharing their time, expertise and guidance with the students. Thanks also to the 12 jury members led by Head Juror Max, along with all students who contributed to the success of the event.
We would also like to thank Ms Heffernan, Mr O’Brien and Ms O’Higgins for organising such a valuable and memorable experience for our students.
