Students SHOULD NOT attend school if they have returned to Ireland within the last 14 days. Please contact the school to inform us and to confirm the date that they are allowed back to school.
If a student is returning to school after travelling abroad (outside of Ireland) the school must be informed. They must follow the current government travel advice that applies at time of travel.
The government has published new travel advice which you can find here: gov.ie - COVID-19 Travel Advice (www.gov.ie) and gov.ie - Travelling to Ireland during the COVID-19 pandemic (www.gov.ie)
An email should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org containing the following information:
Country Travelling To/From
Date leaving Ireland
Date returning to Ireland
Date due back in school after completing quarantine/self-isolation.
While self-isolating/quarantining after travel the student must get in touch with teachers and access work virtually through Office 365/Teams. This is the student's responsibility.
