Larkin Community College Girls Win NFL Flag Football League!

A massive well done to the brilliant group of girls from Larkin Community College who won big at Ireland’s first girls flag football league – and made history while they were at it!

The event took place at the Sport Ireland Campus, where 80 girls aged 12–15 from schools across Dublin came together for a full day of sport, fun, and competition. Our team were outstanding throughout – they saw off St. Louis in a tough semi-final and then went on to beat St. Mary’s in the final to claim the top spot!

There was great buzz on the day. Flag football is a sport that is growing fast all over the world, especially among young women and girls – and our team is right at the heart of it.

We’re incredibly proud of the girls for their teamwork, effort and energy. They did themselves and the school proud. They will continue with their NFL journey by representing Ireland at the NFL flag continental series in London later this year. Fair play to everyone involved!

Congratulations Amelia-Lily, Ellamay, Toni, Hallie Mai, Lillie, Halle, Kayden, Lottie, Lily and Jorja.
