Student Spotlight: Halle Harcourt’s Rise in Irish Women’s Soccer

We are thrilled to announce that our second year student, Halle Harcourt, has been called up to join the Republic of Ireland Under 16 Women’s Soccer Team competing in the FAI Bob Docherty Cup in Co. Antrim this April. This remarkable achievement reflects Halle’s dedication, talent and hard work both on and off the field. Halle’s sporting journey has been filled with impressive milestones: Halle has been a key player for Shelbourne FC’s Under 17 team, helping them secure the league championship last season. She made her first appearance for the Irish Under 16 squad in a match against Northern Ireland, marking a huge step in her career.

In a friendly match against Cymru (Wales) on September 17, 2024, Halle scored a fantastic goal, further proving her talent at the international level.

Halle’s achievements go beyond club and international soccer—she is also a standout player in our School Football Development Programme. Her contributions include: Being an active member of our Girls U19 team, which is preparing to compete in the FAI League Final. Playing a key role in our junior NFL girls team, where she has quickly become a star player.

Halle’s dedication and leadership inspire her peers, and we are incredibly proud to see her representing both our school and Ireland. Congratulations, Halle! Your school community is cheering you on, and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next.
