TY Students and Senior Infants Enjoy Paired Reading Programme

As part of the Paired Reading Programme, a group of TY students recently spent two weeks visiting the Senior Infant classes in Central Model Junior School.

Over the course of the programme, the TY students enjoyed several lovely mornings reading with the younger pupils. These sessions not only helped to develop reading skills and confidence, but also created a warm and positive atmosphere.

The experience was hugely rewarding for both groups, with the TY students acting as fantastic role models and the Senior Infants showing great enthusiasm and excitement for reading. It was a wonderful example of kindness and community spirit in action.
