TY Students Engage in Mental Health Workshop with Jigsaw
We were delighted to welcome Jake Rowe from Jigsaw to our school to speak with our TY students about the importance of minding your mental health. Jake led an engaging and informative session, encouraging students to look after their wellbeing and to seek support when needed.
During the visit, students also learned about the Jigsaw Youth Volunteer Project, which offers young people the opportunity to actively advocate for improved mental health services and resources for young people in their communities.
A special well done to LCA student Lexie, who organised this workshop as part of her Contemporary Issues task for Social Education. Her initiative and commitment to raising awareness around mental health are truly commendable. We know you’ll do great, Lexie!
